I wanted to take the time to recognize Mr. Southern at Big Star Hyundai in Friendswood, even though we ultimately did not purchase a vehicle from him. Mr. Southern went above and beyond for my wife and me and was, without question, one of the best car salesmen we have ever dealt with. My wife wanted to compare several different vehicles, and Mr. Southern went out of his way to track down multiple vehicles for her to look at and test drive. We spent hours with him, drove several vehicles, asked plenty of questions, and probably had him running all over the dealership. Through all of it, he never once made us feel rushed, pressured, or like we were wasting his time. He was more than willing to help us in every way possible. Ultimately, my wife decided she liked the Kia Telluride better, so we ended up purchasing elsewhere. However, the fact that we didn't buy a vehicle from Mr. Southern, and I am still taking the time to write this review, should say everything about the impression he made on us. Mr. Southern is an incredibly charismatic, personable, patient, and genuinely good person. He made what can normally be a stressful car-buying process enjoyable, and his professionalism and customer service were second to none. If you are ever in the market for a Hyundai, I cannot recommend Mr. Southern at Big Star Hyundai enough. Even though he didn't get our sale, he absolutely earned our respect and our recommendation. If we ever find ourselves shopping for a Hyundai in the future, Mr. Southern will be the first person we call. Thank you again, Mr. Southern, for all the time and effort you put into helping us. It did not go unnoticed!
